Privacy

This site is a results archive. It is built as static pages, sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and the hand replayer never sends a hand to a server. This page says what little remains.

What the site itself collects

Nothing. The pages are generated in advance and served as files. There is no account, no newsletter, no comment form and no search box that talks to a server. The site does not use cookies, local storage or any tracking pixel, and it loads no advertising or analytics script. There is no way for the desk to see who read which page.

What the hosting provider logs

Like any web server, the one that serves these pages writes a standard access log: the IP address of the request, the time, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string and the referring page where the browser sends one. The log exists to keep the server running and to detect abuse, is not joined with any other data and is not used to profile readers. It is kept for the short period the provider needs for those purposes and then discarded. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

The hand replayer

A hand history you paste or open in the hand replayer is parsed and played inside your browser. The text is not uploaded, stored or transmitted anywhere. A share link you create carries the hand inside the part of the address after the hash sign, which browsers do not send to the server; whoever opens the link decodes it in their own browser. If you tick "Hide the hero's name", your screen name is removed from the hand text before the link is built.

Embedded video

The video replays page embeds YouTube videos. A video is loaded only after you click its poster, and it is loaded from the youtube-nocookie.com address, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set cookies to track viewing before you play. The poster images themselves are fetched from Google's image servers when the page opens, so Google receives your IP address and the usual request headers at that moment. If you would rather avoid that, do not open the video page; nothing else on the site contacts Google. YouTube's own processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Records and articles link to the sources they were compiled from, such as PokerNews, Card Player and the rooms' own sites, and the room profiles link to the rooms' homepages. These are plain editorial links with no tracking parameters. Once you follow one, the other site's rules apply.

Names on the ledger

The results pages reproduce names as the rooms and reporting outlets published them: screen names, and real names only where the source printed them. This is the same information that appears in the public payout tables and tournament reports the records cite. If a published record about you is wrong, or you believe it should not appear here, the desk will check it against the source and correct or remove it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing, and complain to your national data protection authority. Since the site stores nothing about its readers beyond the server log described above, a request will in most cases be answered with exactly that.

Contact

The site is run by Patrick Reid, who is the controller for the little data described above. Questions about this page, a request under the rights listed, or a correction to a published record go to [email protected].
