Americas Cardroom: the offshore room that still serves US players
Americas Cardroom profile: the Winning Poker Network's flagship room, the OSS and Venom series, the Sunday schedule, and why its results are recorded alongside the regulated rooms without being promoted.
Americas Cardroom is the flagship of the Winning Poker Network and the largest offshore room that accepts US players. It is not licensed by any US state regulator, which the profile says plainly, and it is on this ledger for the same reason the regulated rooms are: it runs tournament series with published payout tables, and US players who cannot reach GGPoker or PokerStars play on it.
The series
The room’s calendar is built around the OSS, the Online Super Series, which runs several times a year with a large guaranteed total, and the Venom, a multi-flight event with a guaranteed seven-figure first prize that is the room’s answer to CoinPoker’s The One. The weekly schedule is anchored by the Sunday Special and the High Five series. The Venom in particular is the kind of event the ledger exists to record: a single guaranteed number, a large field built from re-entries, and a published final table.
What the ledger holds
No Americas Cardroom result with a published final table is on file as of the last update, so the room’s results pages are empty. The OSS and Venom results are reported by the room and by the poker press with full payouts, and will be recorded when the 2026 tables are added. The profile is here so the room’s place in the US market is explained while the pages wait.
The US market it sits in
Regulated US online poker is live in six states with separate pools. Americas Cardroom takes players from the rest of the country, and from the regulated states too, without a state licence. The “best US sites” lists the desk read for this profile mostly rank offshore rooms, Americas Cardroom, Ignition and CoinPoker among them, above the regulated ones; the desk treats those rankings with caution, notes that the rooms are not state-licensed, and records their results on the same terms as everyone else’s.
That is the whole of the site’s position on the matter. A results desk reports what tournaments paid. It does not advise anyone where to play, and it has no sign-up links, bonus codes or tracking links for this room or any other.
How the room publishes
Americas Cardroom reports winners by screen name. The press that covers its series, PokerNews and Card Player among them, prints full payout tables for the OSS Main Events and the Venom. The ledger will carry screen names and whatever countries the source gives.
Comparing offshore and regulated fields
The Venom’s guaranteed first prize and the OSS totals are large by US standards because the room draws from the whole country rather than from one state’s pool. The ledger’s buy-in, entries and first prize columns make the comparison with WSOP.com and BetMGM Poker direct: same format, different pool sizes, numbers side by side.
On the series board
No Americas Cardroom series is listed yet. The OSS and the Venom will be added as series when their payout tables are recorded.
